TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND provision based in Chester. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence.

The school is looking to take on a permanent SEND Teacher on a full-time basis. The successful SEND teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 19yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
  • Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
