The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Sports Coach on a full-time, long-term basis with a view to becoming permanent for the right Sports Coach. The successful Sports Coach will be responsible for delivering engaging sports sessions, supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, encouraging participation in physical activities and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day.
The successful Sports Coach will have:
- Experience working with children and young people in a school, coaching or educational setting
- A recognised Sports Coaching qualification or relevant sports-based experience
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- The ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach
