Teacher Active is proud to be working with a well-established mainstream secondary school in Mid Essex that is seeking to appoint a Secondary Science Teacher. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school has a strong reputation for providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where both students and staff are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a permanent Secondary Science Teacher from September 2026 on a full-time basis. The successful Secondary Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and contributing positively to the wider school community. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or ECT looking to develop within a supportive secondary setting.
The successful Secondary Science Teacher will have:
- QTS or ECT status
- Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- The ability to teach Science across KS5
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
