Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4? Are you a qualified English Teacher with QTS, or an ECT looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive secondary school? The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a permanent basis from September. The successful English Teacher will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations of behaviour, and contributing positively to the wider life of the school. Applications are welcomed from both experienced English Teachers and ECTs.

The successful English Teacher will have:

  • QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
  • Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum up to Key Stage 4
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
