As an Early Years Supply Teacher / Practitioner, you will have access to day-to-day cover shifts, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and permanent opportunities. We can support candidates looking for part-time, full-time, or flexible working arrangements to suit their lifestyle.

The role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Supply Teacher / Practitioner professionals who are confident supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and play-based learning
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
  • Observe, assess, and support children's progress where required
  • Adapt quickly to different nursery settings and classroom environments
  • Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence
  • Support daily routines including meal times, personal care, and outdoor learning activities
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or relevant Early Years qualifications
  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within EYFS settings
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
  • Ability to work flexibly across different nursery settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
