This school provides a high standard of education and focuses on secondary students with SEMH, Autism and MLD needs, providing them with a daily structure and routine to ensure the best learning environment for their individual needs.

The school is looking for a determined Humanities Teacher with the potential of a permanent position. The successful Humanities Teacher will be confident and adaptable in working from Key Stage 3 / KS3 to Key Stage 4 / KS4 helping them to meet their goals. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have the following:

  • QTS, ECTs are welcome to apply!
  • Experience working with SEMH, ASD and MLD
  • A calm, patient, and caring personality
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
  • Excellent classroom management
