The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting children with complex needs including Autism / ASD, SEMH, ADHD and PMLD, delivering engaging lessons, providing personal care where required and supporting pupils with multiple disabilities while demonstrating a caring and empathetic approach throughout the school day.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Previous experience working as a SEND Teacher supporting children with complex additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and PMLD
- Experience providing personal care and supporting pupils with multiple disabilities
- Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching to individual learning needs
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
