TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated A Level Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition in the Lewisham area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tutor or qualified teacher who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Pay Rate: £20 – £30 per hour
Type: Part-time / Flexible hours
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging 1:1 A Level tuition tailored to the student’s individual needs
- Support students in building confidence and improving their understanding of A Level subjects
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to support academic development
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher or tutor with at least 1 year of tutoring/teaching experience
- Experience supporting A Level students
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to plan and deliver personalised learning sessions
Desirable:
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience working with students who have medical needs
