We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing & Heating Trainer Assessor to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an industry professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled plumbers and heating engineers.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, assessing learners against industry standards, and supporting apprentices and learners throughout their qualification journey.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging practical and theoretical training in plumbing and heating
- Assess learners in the workplace and/or training centre in line with awarding body requirements
- Support and guide learners to achieve NVQ / apprenticeship standards
- Maintain accurate learner records, assessments, and progress reports
- Ensure training and assessment meet quality assurance and compliance standards
- Keep up to date with industry developments and standards
- Occupationally competent in plumbing and heating
- Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or working towards)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A supportive, learner-focused approach
- Internal Quality Assurance qualification (IQA)
- Ongoing CPD and training support
- Friendly and supportive working environment
