Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with extensive experience in SEN support? Is it important for you to build trusting relationships with your pupils? Do you remain calm and professional in challenging situations?

We are seeking a highly experienced Learning Support Assistant who is ready for a challenge to join the school. The successful candidate will support children with emotional, learning, and behavioural difficulties in the learning support class, potentially in either a group or a 1:1 setting. This role will focus on developing pupils' learning and confidence on a daily basis, offering a temporary opportunity to enhance your skills and self-confidence.

The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will have:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification
  • Experience working one-to-one with pupils with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
  • Preferably TEAM teach qualified, but not required
  • Excellent classroom management skills
