TeacherActive is proud to be working with a high-performing inner-city secondary school in Cardiff that maintains high expectations for both staff and pupils. The school provides an ambitious learning environment and is looking for a Food Technology Teacher who can contribute positively to its culture of achievement.
The school is looking to take on a Food Technology Teacher from September on a long-term agency contract. The successful Food Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management and high standards of teaching and learning.
The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS with a relevant Food Technology specialism
- Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Strong knowledge of the relevant secondary curriculum
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- A positive approach with high expectations for pupil achievement
