Role Overview
The school is seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher for a long-term assignment, with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4
- Maintain consistent classroom management and uphold behaviour standards
- Adapt swiftly to different classroom environments and student needs
- Support student engagement and learning continuity during staff absences
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects
- Flexible, proactive approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
