The school has a strong focus on supporting students’ emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development, while providing excellent support for staff through a collaborative leadership team.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis starting from 1st June. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will work closely with pupils with a range of additional learning needs, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom to encourage engagement, confidence and positive learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with ALN
- A caring, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD or learning difficulties desirable
- A proactive and positive attitude
