The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Learning Support Assistant to provide flexible support across the school. The successful Cover LSA will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils with their learning
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
- Helping to maintain a purposeful learning environment
- Providing one-to-one or small group support where required
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
The successful Cover Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting
- A patient, caring and supportive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility to support across different classes and year groups
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in school life
- A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
