The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of reading, writing, and communication. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring student progress, and maintaining excellent classroom management.

The successful English Teacher will have:

  • QTS with an English specialism
  • Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for raising attainment and student achievement
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
