The Headteacher is looking to appoint a driven and enthusiastic NQT / ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for early career teachers looking to gain valuable experience in a mainstream setting.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Support pupils with GCSE Maths exam preparation
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
- Follow and implement the school’s schemes of learning
- Develop effective classroom and behaviour management skills with support from experienced staff
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths specialism (NQTs / ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Experience teaching Maths during training placements or previous roles
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
