About the Role
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Caerphilly. This inclusive and forward‑thinking school promotes a strong academic ethos, with a focus on raising attainment and supporting students to achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment. The school is looking to take on a driven Maths Teacher on a long‑term basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3/KS3 and Key Stage 4/KS4, including preparing students for GCSE examinations and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
Qualifications
- QTS with a Maths specialism (NQT are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
