TeacherActive is currently recruiting Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to work within nurseries and Early Years settings across Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic practitioners who are committed to providing children with a safe, engaging and nurturing environment in which they can learn, develop and thrive.
The Role
- Providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
- Working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observing children's development and contributing to learning records
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Supporting children's individual needs and routines
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
- Have experience working with children within an Early Years or nursery setting
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS
- Be enthusiastic, caring, patient and reliable
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be confident in supporting children's individual learning and development
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
