TeacherActive are looking for Teachers in Pembrokeshire to have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools. We build great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you.

We are looking for Teachers to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in with their education. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and to keep everyday diverse and exciting.

The ideal teacher should have the following:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): This is essential for teaching in primary, secondary, and ALN schools in Wales.
  • Registration with EWC: You must be registered with the Education Workforce Council in the appropriate category to legally work in a Welsh school.
  • Education: A degree (Bachelor of Education, or a degree plus a PGCE/relevant teaching qualification).
  • Experience: Previous classroom experience required (work or placement based).

All our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you are paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance, and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
