TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Salford, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. This ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rated school prides itself on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and socially.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting in July. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Year 3 class, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, support learning outcomes and provide classroom support throughout the school day.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working within a UK Primary School
- Experience supporting children within Key Stage 2 / KS2
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
