TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Bristol that supports children and young people aged 4-19 with a range of complex learning needs. The school adopts a highly personalised approach to education, underpinned by a culture of inclusion, active learning and independence, with a strong emphasis on developing confident, happy and successful young people through a broad and enriching curriculum.
The school is looking to appoint a full‑time SEND Teacher with a PE specialism from September 2026. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils with SEMH needs, delivering engaging PE lessons alongside a personalised curriculum, promoting positive behaviour, resilience and well‑being whilst contributing to a supportive and collaborative staff team. The role would suit a SEND Teacher who is passionate about helping students develop both academically and personally through sport and physical activity.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching PE within a primary, secondary or SEND setting
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
