About the role:
TeacherActive works closely with a variety of nurseries across Bristol, assisting with the recruitment of both temporary and permanent staff, as well as providing day-to-day cover to support with staff absences such as sickness or annual leave. These nurseries care for children aged 5 and under, creating warm, supportive settings where children feel safe and are encouraged to learn through play and exploration, helping them build key early skills.
We are currently seeking Supply Early Years Practitioners to work across nursery settings throughout Bristol. Applicants should hold a Level 3 or T-Level qualification in Childcare & Education (or above) and have prior experience within an Early Years environment. This position is well suited to those looking for flexible or part-time work, including students managing college or university commitments, while gaining valuable experience across a range of nursery settings. Successful candidates will be adaptable, confident working with different age groups, and comfortable supporting children across various rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to provide two professional references, including one from an educational setting
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children
- Be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS, or already hold one
