We are looking to appoint an Art and Design Technology Teacher on a permanent, full‑time basis from September 2026. The successful teacher will inspire students through a combination of creative and practical learning and will be responsible for delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, monitoring progress, maintaining classroom management, and promoting high standards of achievement across the department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Art and Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan and develop engaging and rigorous curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and student behaviour.
- Promote high standards of achievement across the department.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an Art, Design Technology or related specialism.
- Experience teaching Art and Design Technology up to Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for developing creativity, practical skills and student achievement.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
