Are you a qualified Food Technology Teacher looking for a permanent role in a high-performing secondary school? Can you deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4? Are you an experienced teacher or ECT looking to join a supportive school with excellent professional development opportunities?
The school promotes a culture of shared responsibility and provides a supportive environment where both experienced teachers and ECTs can continue to develop professionally. The school is looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher on a permanent basis with an Immediate Start, teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.
The successful Food Technology Teacher will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Maintain high expectations in the classroom
- Support pupils in developing their knowledge and practical Food Technology skills
The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
- Experience teaching Food Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and committed approach to supporting pupil progress
