TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND LSA. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning. The school is looking to take on a compassionate SEND LSA on a long-term contract with an immediate start available. The successful SEND LSA will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide tailored support to children with additional needs both inside and outside of the classroom. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to ensuring the successful SEND LSA feels supported throughout the placement.
The successful SEND LSA will have:
- Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting
- Experience working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
- A caring and patient approach to supporting pupils
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A positive and proactive attitude
