TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly private nursery in Drighlington that is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The setting encourages learning through play and supports every child to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.
The nursery is looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, supporting within the preschool room. The successful Nursery Assistant will assist with daily routines, encourage children's development through play-based activities and work closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality care and learning experiences.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent is desirable, but not required
- Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude
