Learning Support Assistant – Permanent position
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to become empowered and fully access the curriculum, promoting their independence and successful completion of their programme of study.
Responsibilities
- Assist college tutors and students by providing one‑to‑one support, practical and classroom assistance, and personal care, ensuring a positive learning experience that enhances student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Demonstrated SEN experience in schools or colleges
- GCSE or equivalent functional Skills L2 in Maths and English
- Experience supporting college tutors across a range of academic courses
- Broad experience with personal care and learning support work
- Strong knowledge and understanding of a T‑Level course (or similar)
