TeacherActive is working alongside a college based in Bolton to recruit an enthusiastic and committed GCSE Maths & English Lecturer for their Bolton campus. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting learners to achieve their GCSE qualifications in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths and English lessons (subjects will rotate)
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with GCSE curriculum requirements
- Support and motivate learners, many of whom may need additional encouragement and guidance
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
About You:
- Qualified teacher or lecturer (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent preferred)
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths and/or English
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about inclusive education and learner success
- Able to commit to 1 day per week
