The school promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on high standards, student wellbeing and helping learners develop the confidence to succeed.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated English Teacher from September on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons, preparing students for assessments, supporting progress across the department and maintaining excellent classroom standards.

The successful English Teacher will have:

  • QTS with an English specialism
  • Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • A positive, proactive and engaging teaching style
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with students and staff
