TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision based in Birmingham, who are looking for an SEN Teacher to join their supportive team. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for primary aged pupils, supporting children with a range of mixed SEND needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to take on an SEN Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teacher will be working with primary aged pupils with mixed needs, planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs and supporting the social, emotional and academic development of pupils.
Qualifications
- QTS
- Experience teaching children and young people with SEND
- Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Strong classroom management skills
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- The ability to create positive relationships with pupils
