TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding boys Grammar School based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a PE Teacher. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence and student achievement, whilst also placing great importance on participation, teamwork and personal development through sport and physical education.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic PE Teacher from September 1st on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right PE Teacher. The successful PE Teacher will be teaching Physical Education across KS3, KS4 and KS5, taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessment and supporting extracurricular sporting activities where required.

Requirements
  • QTS with a PE specialism
  • Experience teaching Physical Education across Key Stage 3/KS3 and Key Stage 4/KS4
  • Experience teaching PE at Key Stage 5/KS5
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for sport, fitness and student wellbeing
  • A positive attitude and commitment to achieving excellent outcomes
