Nursery Deputy Manager

Location: Northfield

Salary: £15.90 per hour (£33,072 per annum)

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager with the daily operation of the nursery
  • Leading and motivating the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare
  • Ensuring the nursery meets all safeguarding and EYFS requirements
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting staff development through coaching and mentoring
  • Maintaining a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
  • Previous experience in a senior role within an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for providing high‑quality early years education and care
