TeacherActive are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools in Handsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning and is ready to make a real impact within a classroom setting.
The successful candidate must have at least 6 months of experience working in a UK school and be confident supporting pupils across the Primary age range.
Ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Have 6 months of experience working in a primary school setting.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to support pupils of mixed abilities.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Be confident supporting small groups or working 1:1 where required.
- Hold a valid DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new Criminal Conviction check.
- Be able to provide two recent professional references.
- Be open to working through TeacherActive on a contract basis and flexible with roles in the local area.
