Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant's needed in West Midlands on a temporary basis, with a salary of £95 - £110 per day.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary SEND school in Stechford that supports children with Autism / ASD. The school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally through tailored learning and specialist support.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across the primary age range, supporting their learning, communication and emotional development while promoting independence both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD, ideally within a primary or SEND setting
  • A good understanding of strategies to support pupils with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, patient and caring approach
  • A willingness to get stuck in and support the wider school community
