The school is looking to appoint a Lead Maths Teacher on a long‑term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right Lead Maths Teacher.

The successful Lead Maths Teacher will play a key role in improving teaching and learning across the department, supporting colleagues, driving student achievement, collaborating across the trust to share best practice, and teaching Mathematics across Key Stages, with the ability to teach Economics at KS5 being advantageous.

The successful Lead Maths Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a specialism in Mathematics
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school
  • A track record of improving student outcomes and delivering outstanding classroom practice
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • The ability to teach Economics at KS5 is desirable
