TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-known and respected secondary school based in Kings Heath, who are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher. This school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through a strong focus on learning and development.
The school is looking to take on an experienced Humanities Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Humanities Teacher will be teaching KS3 students, delivering Humanities lessons and general cover across the timetable. The role will also involve marking work and taking part in parents evenings, requiring a committed and organised Humanities Teacher.
The successful Humanities Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting
- Experience delivering lessons to KS3 students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- A committed and adaptable approach to teaching
