Salary: £160 - £220 per day

Are you passionate about bringing History to life and inspiring the next generation of learners? Do you have experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4? Are you a qualified History Teacher with QTS, or an ECT looking to begin your teaching career?

The school is a welcoming secondary school in Birmingham seeking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher. The school is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop a passion for learning and achieve their full academic potential.

The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a full-time temp to perm basis from September. The successful History Teacher will deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess and monitor student progress, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

ECTs are welcome to apply and will benefit from excellent support and professional development opportunities.

The successful History Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching History up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
