Location: West Midlands (temporary).

Salary: £170 - £223 per day depending on experience.

Position: Girls PE Teacher (12‑month maternity cover) starting September 2026 at a successful Girls Grammar School in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support extracurricular activities and fixtures.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive PE department to ensure outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • QTS with a Physical Education specialism.
  • Experience teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for Physical Education and promoting participation in sport.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
