Are you a passionate Geography Teacher who can inspire students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 to Key Stage 5 / KS5? Do you have strong classroom management and a confident teaching style? Are you looking for a long-term supply role that could lead to a permanent position?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding boys Grammar School based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher. The school has a strong academic culture and is committed to supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes across the curriculum.
The school is looking to take on a driven Geography Teacher from September 1st on a long-term supply basis, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right Geography Teacher. The successful Geography Teacher will be teaching Geography across KS3, KS4 and KS5, taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment.
The successful Geography Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Geography specialism
- Experience teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 5 / KS5
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and commitment to raising standards
