About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef Lecturer to join our dynamic hospitality and catering team. The ideal candidate will bring real‑world culinary expertise into the classroom, inspiring the next generation of chefs with engaging and practical teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of culinary courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
- Support students in developing their practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and course planning.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
- Proven teaching or training experience, ideally within a further education or vocational training setting.
- A passion for culinary arts and education.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training) is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one.
