Part-Time Playworker – Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club
Location: Bicknacre, Essex
Hours: Monday–Wednesday or Monday–Thursday, all year round
Contract: Part-time
Are you energetic, creative and passionate about working with children? We are looking for a fun, confident and proactive Playworker to join a welcoming and dedicated children’s club in Bicknacre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating exciting experiences, building positive relationships and making a real difference to children’s lives.
The successful Playworker will support children across breakfast club, after-school club and holiday club sessions, helping to create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and build lasting memories.
The Role
- Support the day-to-day running of breakfast, after-school and holiday club sessions
- Create fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities for children
- Encourage children to participate in games, creative activities, sports and outdoor play
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children
- Support children’s wellbeing, development and individual needs
- Ensure children are supervised and kept safe at all times
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and club policies
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive and positive environment
- Support with school collections and transport during term time
About You

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own car, as you will be required to collect and transport children from local schools during term time
