Are you a passionate Child Development Teacher with experience teaching up to GCSE? Do you have strong classroom management and the ability to engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4? Are you confident teaching Food Technology lessons with support staff available in the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Worcester, who are looking to appoint a Child Development Teacher. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with a clear focus on helping students build confidence, independence and strong subject knowledge.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Child Development Teacher on a full-time, long-term supply basis to cover a 1-year maternity leave. The successful Child Development Teacher will be teaching Child Development up to GCSE, as well as delivering Food Technology lessons with support staff available to assist where required.

Qualifications
  • QTS with a Child Development, Health and Social Care or relevant subject specialism
  • Experience teaching Child Development up to GCSE
  • A strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
  • A flexible and positive approach to teaching
