Are you an experienced SEND Teacher with a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? Do you have strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships? Are you looking for flexible temporary supply work within supportive SEND settings?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of SEND schools and alternative provisions across Hull. These settings provide inclusive and nurturing environments for children and young people with additional needs, promoting independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing through tailored learning approaches and therapeutic support.
We are looking for dedicated SEND Teachers to work on a long-term temporary supply basis across a variety of SEND settings in Hull, with the opportunity to become a permanent role in the future. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students across different Key Stages with needs including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties. Opportunities are available on both short-term and long-term assignments, with flexible working patterns to suit your availability.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting students with Autism / ASD, SEMH or ADHD
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
