TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Leeds, who are looking to appoint Early Years Assistants on a flexible day-to-day basis. These nurseries create engaging and nurturing environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and creativity, while maintaining a strong focus on child development and wellbeing.
The nurseries are looking for adaptable Early Years Assistants to support children across a variety of age groups on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for students or candidates looking for part-time work, offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience within Early Years settings while choosing shifts that fit around other commitments.
The successful Early Years Assistant must have:
- Minimum 3 months previous experience working with children within a nursery or Early Years setting
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
