The setting has a strong focus on understanding the whole child, creating secure relationships and providing an engaging environment where individual success is recognised and celebrated. The SEND EYFS Teacher will have the freedom to make learning creative, practical and meaningful, using purposeful play and sensory experiences to develop early communication, interaction, physical development and personal, social and emotional skills. The EYFS provision uses personalised EHCP targets alongside topic-based learning and provides sensory areas, sand and water exploration, fine and gross motor activities, small-world play, creative activities and indoor and outdoor continuous provision. This is a role where topics can genuinely be brought to life. Whether pupils are exploring themselves and their families, discovering animals and living things, investigating colours, tastes and textures, or developing their understanding of the world around them, you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences that encourage curiosity, engagement and independence.
