Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to achieve it within the required timeframe).
  • Have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
  • Demonstrate experience in identifying, assessing, and supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
  • Lead and develop inclusive teaching practices across the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND provision, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning for all pupils.
