TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Dewsbury that is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to become confident, independent learners, supported by a committed leadership team and strong community values.
The school is looking to recruit a Primary Teacher on a permanent basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging lessons across the Primary Curriculum, monitoring pupil progress, and creating a stimulating classroom environment that supports achievement and personal development.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A committed and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
