TeacherActive is looking to recruit enthusiastic Design Technology and Food Technology Supply Teachers to join our busy and growing team, supporting a range of fantastic secondary schools across Bath & North East Somerset (BANES). Whether you're seeking day-to-day supply, short-term assignments or long-term placements, we have a variety of opportunities to suit your availability. You'll have the chance to teach across well-resourced schools, build experience in different environments, and make a real impact on students' learning.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Design Technology and/or Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is advantageous)
- Be confident delivering engaging, practical lessons across a range of specialisms
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to different school environments
- Be committed to supporting students in achieving their full potential
