They are looking to take on a dedicated SENDCo on a long-term basis. The successful SENDCo will play a vital role in leading and managing the SEND provision across the school, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be responsible for many SENDCo duties such as overseeing EHCPs, liaising with staff and external professionals, and implementing effective intervention strategies.
The successful SENDCo will have:
- SENDCo qualification
- Proven experience working with SEND students across a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
