TeacherActive is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan for a Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support pupils within a mainstream primary school, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide high-quality classroom support and encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment. This is a temporary position starting in September.
The successful candidate will:
- Be fluent in Welsh and confident communicating through the medium of Welsh.
- Have previous experience working within an educational setting.
- Be passionate about supporting young people in their learning and development.
- Be patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Be flexible, reliable, and committed to promoting an inclusive learning environment.
- Be able to support pupils both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions where required.
